Two EWK-C 1800/6 cooling towers have been installed for the Colombian hydroelectric power plant in Rio Cucuana (Colombia).
The project aim was to have one tower working for each twin turbine; two closed circuit cooling towers EWK, with separated water circuit from the waterfall, were accordingly installed.
These EWK cooling towers contribute to the commitment of sustainability, agreed under the Kyoto Protocol of United Nations, and because of what they received the Clean Development Mechanism certification.
