The old deteriorated cooling towers were affecting the performance of the rest of equipments and then limiting the production of Ammonium Nitrate.
EWK proposed the installation of six cooling towers EWB 5750/09 with independent water basin reservoir each. This way they could provide cool water to the different processes of the plant.
Those cooling towers are specially designed for big capacity, they are modular, and the water basin can be made in FGRP or in concrete. They have hot deep galvanized structure although it could be made also in stainless steel.
The assembly on site was done by their own personnel under the supervision of the EWK technicians, the six cooling towers were erected in only eight weeks, even less than expected.
