DIAM, set up in 1986, is part of a group with great tradition in the cork activity. His constant commitment to innovation has led to the expansion of a second plant, named “Diamante 2”, located in San Vicente de Alcántara (Badajoz) equipped with the most advanced technology known in Spain, with an investment of 17 million euros. This plant represents the consolidation of Diamant®, the most innovative and modern technology in the world of cork and is established as the world’s largest treatment plant with supercritical CO2. Two towers EWK closed circuit for the cooling process are installed in it.
